Huawei LUNA2000 batteries are modular, LiFePO₄ technology-based energy storage systems designed to perfectly integrate with Huawei SUN2000 hybrid inverters. A single battery module has a capacity of 5 kWh and can be expanded up to 15 kWh in a system by connecting up to three modules. Furthermore, with more modern designs, they can reach up to 20.7 kWh.

The system's operating voltage ranges from 350 V to 560 V, and the maximum charge/discharge power can be up to 10.5 kW, making it suitable for serving high-demand consumers. LUNA2000 modules have IP66 protection and an operating temperature range of –20 °C to +55 °C. The batteries support the EPS (Emergency Power Supply) function, which automatically switches the system to supply critical loads in the event of a power outage. Up to 4 groups can be connected, allowing for larger capacities of up to 82.8 kWh for a single system.
