Product description
Product description
The Sigen Gateway HomePro is the central switching and communication unit for Sigenergy systems, ensuring seamless operation between the household and the solar-battery system in the event of a power outage. Its task is to manage energy flow between the grid, the inverter, the battery, and optionally a generator, as well as automatic mode switching.
One of the most important features of the Gateway HomePro is its 0 ms transfer time, which provides uninterrupted power supply to the protected load side during a power outage. The built-in bypass circuit increases system reliability, while real-time current monitoring and anti-backfeed protection help ensure compliance with grid regulations.
The device can manage multiple energy sources simultaneously: solar (PV), battery energy storage (ESS), grid, diesel generator, and V2X (e.g., electric vehicle). It supports whole-home backup mode, as well as intelligent, prioritized backup supply, where only selected loads remain powered in the event of a power outage.
The Sigen Gateway HomePro is available in two versions:
- HomePro SP (1 phase) – for single-phase residential systems
- HomePro TP (3 phase) – for three-phase residential systems
The selection of the appropriate version always depends on the building's grid connection and the inverter type. The Gateway is required for the Sigenergy system to operate with full backup functionality.
